I am from Ajnara Gen-X @ Fountain Circle, just had a word with one of the maintenance electrician, they are feeding the new increased charges coupon in all meters of Ajnara today, so after that the increased rates will be effective.

Previously, the normal charges were approx Rs 3.40 now its is Rs 4.66

Now that is a drastic change !!!

As per the news :

"The fixed charge on power consumption load has been increased by Rs 10 from Rs 65 per kilowatt (Kw) to Rs 75 per Kw for domestic consumers. The power tariff has been hiked from Rs 3.45 per unit to Rs 4 per unit for the first 200 units of consumption.

Between 201 and 500 units of consumption, power tariff has been hiked from Rs 3.80 per unit to Rs 4.50 per unit. Beyond that, the power tariff has been hiked to Rs 5 per unit of consumption.

For rural unmetered consumers, the tariff has been hiked from Rs 125 per month to Rs 180 per month. For metered rural consumers, the fixed charge has been increased from Rs 15 per Kw to Rs 50 per Kw, while energy charge has been hiked from Rs one per unit to Rs 2.20 per unit."

So we all need to look into this matter, so that we are not cheated by the builders and their sister maintenance concerns.

Also to the governing body of CROMA: if any support is required from me on this matter, please suggest.

This month it seems to be high as we had power back up running for many hours...also I suspect there is some glitch somewhere as I paid 3000 for 7 days!!

Hi Keshri ,

I do feel that GH-7 Soceity+Electricity charges are too high and unacceptable. This should be the 1st stuff to be done by RWA ( which every GH-7 Flat owners are waiting )

Hope CHROMA team takes it up at the earliest and provide some conclusive solution as in most of delhi soceity charges are max- 1200 / 1500 a month and then BSES Electricity bills....as I have been living in Delhi Vasundhra Enclave soceities for many years now ...

We all CHROMA members are eagerly waiting for some conclusive solution.

Dear All

Please share the electricity charges of your society, normal as well as backup.
Also are the maintenance guys increasing the charges ?
Can't we get the govt. meter in our flats ?
Do you feel that many times they put the backup on deliberately ?
Why is there fixed meter rental for each day ? 
Can't there be just one time payment ?

What best can be done to reduce the extra burden ?

I am a month old in CR, need your help.
