Dear All,

This news say, CROMA filed a petition in High Court few month back, which was dismissed by the Court. Also, a comment by President CROMA.

THIS IS ENTIRELY WRONG. ALSO, PRESIDENT CROMA NEVER SPOKE TO IBN LIVE 

CROMA never moved to court or filed any petition in any court. It was the builders and couple of individuals who went to court and it was their cases that were dismissed. 

From where IBN got this piece, we really don't know!

I think its wrong on part of GDA to register land for the waste plant as the case is already with Honourable Supreme Court of India. GDA should wait for the ruling of the court.

If they build SMWP in Galand, they will be building DG in Crossings.

नगर संवाददाता ॥ नवयुग मार्केट एनएच-24 से सटे गांव गालंद में सॉलिड वेस्ट मैनेजमेंट प्लांट बनानेे का रास्ता साफ हो गया है। हाईटेक टाउनशिप डिवेलपर दो कंपनियों ने सीधे तौर पर किसानों से खरीदी गई करीब दस एकड़ जमीन शुक्रवार को जीडीए के पक्ष मंे रजिस्ट्री कर दी है। यहां डंपिंग ग्राउंड और सॉलिड वेस्ट मैनेजमेंट प्लांट लगाने के लिए और लगभग 19 एकड़ जमीन की जरूरत होगी। हाईटेक डिवेलपर कंपनियां किसानांे से अब इसे सीधे खरीद रही हैं। जीडीए वीसी एन. के. चौधरी ने बताया कि शुक्रवार को लगभग 10 एकड़ जमीन की रजिस्ट्री कराई गई है। जीडीए के भू-अर्जन अधिकारी ज्ञानेन्द्र वर्मा ने बताया कि किसानों से रजिस्ट्री की प्रक्रिया जीडीए के पक्ष में पूरी कराई। उन्होंने बताया कि सिटी में सॉलिड वेस्ट मैनेजमेंट प्लांट और डंपिंग ग्राउंड के लिए कुल 43 एकड़ जमीन की जरूरत है। गांव डूंडाहेड़ा में इस प्रोजेक्ट के लिए नगर निगम के पास पहले से ही करीब 14 एकड़ जमीन है। बाकी 29 एकड़ जमीन गांव गालंद और पिपलेहड़ा एरिया के किसानों से जमीन की खरीद की जा रही है। जीडीए का दावा है कि जल्दी ही बाकी जमीन भी जीडीए को मिल जाएगी। सॉलिडवेस्ट मैनेजमेंट प्लांट प्रोजेक्ट लगाने का कार्य नगर निगम कराएगा। नगर निगम ने पहले ही सिटी के लिए सॉलिड वेस्ट मैनेजमेंट प्लांट लगाने के लिए एक निजी क्षेत्र की कंपनी से अनुबंध किया हुआ है। वर्मा के मुताबिक 29 एकड़ जमीन की खरीद होने के बाद इसे नगर निगम को सॉलिड वेस्ट मैनेजमेंट के लिए दे दिया जाएगा।

whether it is DG or SWMP... both are dangerous... in DG we can see the garbage but in SWMP we can smell the garbage.... what ever the technique they use , fumes will be generated and that one is dangerous for us...
