Dear All CROMA Members,
I would like to thank all those members who took time off to attend the Governing Body Meeting on 15th May 2016 (Sunday). The meeting was supposed to start at 3 PM but due to the lack of quorum, the meeting was adjourned for 30 minutes and then started at 3:30 PM and the following points were discussed in the meeting:
1. Publishing the accounts statement as on 30th April 2016: The CROMA Treasurer, Mr. Pradeep Aswani, presented the financial report and put the Audited Balance Sheet in front of the General Body. Anyone who is interested to see the CROMA Account Book can write to President, Secretary and Treasurer and can see the accounts book.
2. Discussion on the Charter of Demand of CROMA and its current status: The General Secretary, Mr. Raj Kumar Raju, presented 32 points Charter of Demand and given their current status as well. The detailed statuses are provided under Appendix-A of this minute.
3. Formation of the Election Committee and proceed for the election of the members of the Governing Body of CROMA for next 2 years: The General Secretary, Mr. Raj Kumar Raju, called nomination for the Election Committee Members who was supposed to conduct the CROMA Election as per the rule laid down in the CROMA Bye Laws under Rule No 16 and the following members gave their nominations for the same:

The majority of the Election Committee Members decided to go ahead with the rule laid down in the CROMA Bye Laws under Rule No 16 which says, "The Governing Body of the society shall be elected for a term of 2 years in General Body Meeting. The raising hands shall be the mode of election". So the Election Committee called the nomination for the following positions as per the CROMA Bye Laws:
i. President : 1
ii. Vice President : 1
iii. General Secretary : 1
iv. Secretary : 3
v. Treasurer : 1
vi. Executive Member : 8 Plus 16 Extended EB Members
4. The Election Committee called the nomination for the above positions and the following members are elected unopposed with the following post:

Appendix-A (CROMA Charter of Demand)
Key Points on which CROMA Worked and completed so far:
1. Road Connectivity:
i) 4 Lanning of Road between Divyansh & NH 24: Not Done yet
ii) Completion of Road thru New Pulia till Ghaziabad – Greater Noida Link Road: Done
iii) Widening of Sahberi Pulia and road after that: Done
iv) Extension of Two non-functional roads connecting the Gaur roundabout be complete: Done
2. Additional ATM/Bank: SBI, Bank of Baroda, Punjab National Bank, ICICI Bank and Syndicate Bank and their ATM is functional now.
3. Hospital/Emergency Care Centre: The land is allocated between Gaur and Mahagun society but there is no vendor who can build hospital. Follow-up is still going on.
4. Boundary Wall /fencing around the Township and Gate at all entrance: This issue was taken up by CROMA but denied by CIPL.
5. Provision of Fire Station: This issue was well taken but still follow-up is going on with Govt. Authorities.
6. Basic features of a modern township like :
i) Fully functional Police Station with regular patrolling: Police Chowki Available
ii) PNG/CNG Station/Petrol Pump: CNG & Petrol Pump Done
iii) Post Office: Done and Operational
iv) 3-4 ATMS: 2 Operational
v) 1-2 Banks: Operational
vi) Schools: 3 Operational
7. Line of action from CIPL on Dumping Ground: CROMA is already fighting with Ghaziabad Nagar Nigam in Supreme Court and the matter is already in litigation.
8. 24X7 Helpline Number of Crossings Republik Township on which any one can register complain and get complains status: It is available at CIPL Office at Glass Gate.
9. Restriction on any illegal and un-authorized construction: CROMA raise concern or do protest and provide support AOA, in case it happens anywhere inside the township and if they request CROMA to support them.
10. Sharing of Calculation of maintenance expenses for the township: It was shared by CIPL in past.
11. Nomenclature of all the roads with direction signage of all the society at different intersection: Done
12. Creation of proper traffic light with police manning at NH-24 crossing intersection and all inner intersection of township: After long follow-up with GDA, the NH-24 Crossings intersection has become Red Light free.
13. Status of IGL pipeline connections: The IGL is operational in many societies.
14. Provision of common gathering point for celebration like Ramlila/Holi/EID/ Gurupurab/X-Mas/New Year: CROMA organize Ram Leela every year at large scale and appreciated by most of the residents of the township.
15. Understanding development about role and responsibilities of Govt. agencies towards Garbage and Sewage Management etc.: CROMA generally follow-up with various Govt. agencies on this issue but no progress at all.
16. Big Size Signage (backlit) as "CROSSINGS REPUBLIC WELCOME'S YOU" OR "WAY TO CROSSINGS REPUBLIC" at both entrances from NH-24 and near Sahberi Pulia: Partially done near NH-24.
17. The ways to reduce the noise pollution arising out of the STP behind the Golf course: CROMA raised this issue with the concerned department and they ensured in past that the noise pollution will be reduced by using latest machines over there.
18. Provision of multi service provider for Telecom, Internet, DTH/ Cable and installation of more Mobile towers for better signal quality: After regular follow-up with many telecom and Internet Service Provider, Airtel is functional in the township along with TPTL.
19. Regular cleanliness of all common roads and common areas within CR: It is an ongoing issue and is taken care by the CIPL Housekeeping Team.
20. Arrangement of the following as shown in the master plan of CR (As approved by GDA).
i) Playground: Followed up with CIPL but no success at all.
ii) Places of worship: There is a temple in the township.
21. Basic features of a modern township like
i) Provision of common wash rooms/ toilet in the township: CROMA is ready to build it but due to space issue, this issue couldn't take in past but it needs to be taken care in future.
ii) Multiplex: The CORE Mall is coming in front of the Crossings Republik Main Entrance with 4 Screen Multiplex, so this facility is going to be useful for the Crossings Republik Township residents.
iii) Recreational Centers: 3 Mall inside the township has been operational.
22. Well trained and walky-talky equipped guards on all entrances of the township and connected with respective society security. All the common area should be covered with night vision CCTV: Done
23. Provision of connectivity with all important points like
i) Metro Station: Shuttle Services are there especially for Office Going people and the residents are enjoying the services regularly.
ii) Railway Station: Auto and Taxi provision is there inside the township.
iii) Bus Station: Auto and Taxi provision is there inside the township.
24. Provision of Auto, Taxi, and Bus stand inside township: It is already there inside the township.
25. Common transportation vehicle inside township: It was discussed and approved in past GBM that eRicksaw needs to be run but due to lack of legal requirements, it couldn't happen yet.
26. Plan to control/restrict heavy commercial vehicle accessing CNG Station inside the township: Already stopped inside the township
27. Smoke/Fogging machine vehicle deployment for township: It is a seasonal issue CROMA takes up this issue with GNN and other department to do it at township level.
28. Removal of cremation ground opposite Gate no.2 of Crossings infra, GH-7 society: CIPL denied this point due to the religion issue.
29. Provision of Eco-friendly system with plantation, rain water harvesting etc. for the entire township: It is already there but the civic sense needs to be developed to make this township a better place to live in.
