Re: [CROMA] Dumping Yard Construction Started

As per the Navbharat Times News Link Posted by Mohit in next message GDA has also started acquiring Land at Galand and they have already got registered 10 acres land through Hitech City Developer. Hitech city has acquired the land from farmers and done registry in favor of GDA.

Same time it is mentioned that out of total requirement of 43 Acres Land 29 acres will be at Galand & Pipalhera and 14 acres Land is already acquired at Dhundahera.

As I understand they are planning to have the dumping ground at 2 different location.

This doesn't look logical and financially viable for the pvt. party who has got the order for construction & running of Solid waste treatment plant. United pressure from residents on GDA will force them to shift complete unit at Galand - Pipalhera provided they are able to acquire land there.

Lets hope Supreme Court consider life of residents getting affected by dumping ground at Dhundahera.

There are no. of examples of many projects getting scrapped / altered after construction if life/health of ppl around it is getting affected. Unfortunately that happens only after protest.

With restart of construction activity instead of panicking we should get united and ready for protest.

We should also conduct election at earliest possible.
