Just thought of giving a national look to our JIDPL issues.
Please read it do the needful and spread it to your friends.
There was an advertisement in Hindustan times on 30th June (also attached) where govt is taking suggestions from individuals/organizations for lokpal and lokayuktas Bill. Please send your feedback through email tofeedback.ppg@sansad.nic.in or a hard copy of the same as mentioned in the advertisement. Please do so in 15 days from today (30th June 2012). This is a golden opportunity for all of us to speak our mind. Bottom line is if we are able to get a CBI from government control, our battle will be almost won. CBI will be able to prosecute. The least I expect from all of you is to send your feedback through email:

Feedback on Lokpal and Lokayuktas Bill, 2011
Dear Shri K. P. Singhji,
I submit the following feedback:
1. Remove jurisdiction of Lokpal over "the functionary of such bodies or organizations in receipt of donation from public and their annual income exceeding an amount notified by the Central Government". Reason it makes no sense to include this is because this will completely dilute the main purpose of demand of Lokpal, which is corruption in institutions of Government. If the Lokpal has jurisdiction over organizations receiving donations from the public, then they will be inundated with cases which will divert their attention and energies from preventing graft in the Government.
2. Remove the provision to create inquiry wing of Lokpal. Instead add - grant independence to CBI (Central Bureau of Investigation), so that CBI does not have to report to political masters against which it is investigating cases.
