Dear All

"Dear Residents,
For your information and update GDA/GNN and recently Greater Noida Authority as well with new change in U .P.Govt. putting all their effort in building Solid Waste Management plant (dumping ground) near Crossings Republik, ignoring all Legal Compliance /ENVIORNMENT impact. With this background, CROMA has discussed the matter with few advocates of Supreme Court and was advised to immediately file the petition. Accordingly CROMA as advised has filed a case in Supreme Court on 12th July 2012 by filing SLP/ Petition in Supreme Court by joining few other RWA's of Crossings Republik as party in the petition.
Filing Diary number is 22759/2012. Anyone can check the status by using the below link under the page "Diary Number" with above said diary number. Status on this case can be seen on the website of Supreme Court (http://courtnic.nic.in/
In case we are not able hire a good senior advocate having face value in the industry to argue the case on behalf of residents as and when the matter get list for hearing, the matter may go against the residents. Looking into the documents and findings by Allahabad High Court against the builders and few residents this is a very difficult case to win and to get favourable order to chuck and cast aside this dumpyard menace from the current proposed location once forever. As everyone is aware that engaging a good Senior Advocate for arguing the case in Supreme Court is a very expensive affair to deal with as the arguing lawyers of Supreme Court charges fee of range Rs. 1.5 to 2.5 Lac per appearance basis.
CROMA is also keeping its option open of approaching NATIONAL GREEN TRIBUNAL (NGT) regarding Environment Clearance as and when sufficient cause of action will arise to make our petition admissible at NGT
With folded hands, as appealed repeatedly, CROMA once again appeal the residents of Crossings Republik to come forward and support CROMA in this campaign against dumping ground litigation fight in SUPREME COURT by contributing Rs 500 as minimum amount, wherein residents are encouraged to contribute generously towards this cause voluntarily it can be Rs. 1000/- to meet the litigation expenditure related to this case, including lawyer's fee and other court fees and expenses.
Mode of payments
As always, CROMA executive body will keep all the residents updated about the state of development of hearing of the petition and also about the future developments in the case to all the residents from time to time on its website i.e.www.croma.org.in and yahoo group mail id's
