Please be informed that Ministry of Environment & Forests (MoEF) has drafted new Municipal Solid Waste (Management & Handling) Rules 2013 and still have not taken care of nor prescribed minimum distance to be maintained from residential and habitation clusters.

For everyone's reference, MoEF has invited comments / suggestions from all stakeholders and an online petition has been created to raise objections against draft version of Municipal Solid Waste (Management & Handling) Rules 2013.

Please note that the last date for submitting objections is 27 Oct 2013.

Please visit following link for signing the petition and share this link with your families, friends to have maximum objections reaching to Ministry of Environment & Forests:
