Hi Tarun,
though I don't have a flat in Panchsheel. but I know the same has happened with few of my friends in one of the project in Bangalore.
and from their experience, you need to give the same statement as you wrote below that this is because of them.
and ask them to give you a approval letter from authority for floors above 16. 
and ask them when they have intimated to the bank athority that they have got approval..
once you start asking the question, they will not ask you the money.

they play these kind of trick with all customer.. and some get scared and pay them.
and with some of them they bargain their penalty clause. since you also delay the payment so we also delay the handover.. and don't pay you any penalty clause.

since they know we working in private job already have lots of pressure from our job and would agree to their term. even some NRI guys just pay them since they are abroad and can not do much and have easy money coming to them.
So they try these trick on all.  but you need to fight for your money..:)

andher nagari chhopat raja wali kahani hai boss.. mayawati gayee mulayam aaya..lakin aam janata ka kuchh nehi hona..

Hi All,


I have purchased two flats in Panchsheel Wellington Tower 2 which are on 20th and 21st floor. The building above 16th floor was not approved for a long time and hence my loan in spite of being approved was not disbursed by hdfc for was a duration of around 4 months. Once the building got approved and the required documents were submitted by the builder to the bank, our loan was disbursed.


Now, the builder is asking me to pay the interest for these 4 months which would be a really huge amount and moreover the payment was delayed because of papers pending from their side. I need to discuss this with all those who have their flats in Panchsheel Wellington abpove 16th Floor.
