Dear Valued Crossings Republik Resident,
As communicated in the GBM, CROMA Interim Body will be pursuing diligently the 32 items in its Charter of Demands and as a follow-up action on the key demands, Demand 2.1, Demand 5, Demand 7 and Demand 9 (Please see Annexure#1 for details), the Team CROMA is happy to share the following update:
1. Representatives of the Team CROMA met with Higher Authorities of Police Department at Ghaziabad yesterday and shared security and traffic related issues faced by the residents of Crossing Republik.
2. The demand for having functional traffic lights at NH-24, the demand of extra vigilance and patrolling and the demand for management of rash driving through installation of speed breakers have been put forth among other things.
3. The SP City Ghaziabad directed the Police Post in Crossing Republik to be extra vigilant and has assured of better security and deploy of more police personal along with patrolling gypsy and bikers.
4. The representatives of the Team CROMA also visited the Police Post in charge officer. Together they did a drill in Crossings even. The Police in-charge assured the team of extra patrolling and strict adherence of law and order in the area.
5. The boundary wall work around the Crossing Republik and the installation of iron gates has begun. The same can be seen around the Prateek entrance.
Advisory: During yesterday drill, few offenders who were consuming liquor near Galleria Market were taken on hold and issues challan even. Therefore, requesting you all if in case you notice any type of law offending event, kindly report to Police Post, or inform Mr. Yadav (Police Post In-Charge) at 9990382216. Seek support of you all to make Crossings a healthy and safer township to live in.
We will be following up on these and other demands in the Charter and sending in the updates to members of CROMA.
Annexure#1
Demand 2: Basic features of a modern township like: 1. Police Station with regular patrolling: Instances like eve teasing on the fountain chock/market, shameful mischief by bachelors, thefts and murder last year already happened.
Regular patrolling and Police gypsy should be now part of whole Crossings area. For this we are trying to get intervention of SP City Ghaziabad to improve on police infrastructure / deployment besides private guards hired by CIPL.
Demand 5: Creation of proper traffic light with police manning at NH-24 crossing intersection and all inner intersection of township.
Demand 7: Proper boundary walls with proper gates around township.
Demand 9: Road gets narrow opposite Divyansh Gate. It's dangerous and life threatening. Immediate action should be taken to mitigate the risk. CIPL should share the plan for all road constructions.
