Dear Sirs,This refers to Link Road between ABES cut, Ghaziabad at NH 24 and Noida Extension Passing through Crossings Republik & Sahberi Village. This road is a lifeline for commuter travelling from Ghaziabad & Crossings Republik towards Greater Noida & Noida and vice versa. Further Crossings Republik where approx. 10000 -12000 family lives has only two exit point one through NH 24 & another through Sahberi/Noida Extension. Thousands of vehicle uses this route on daily basis to avoid Jam of NH 24. No. of vehicles using this link road from Ghaziabad Town & Noida is double than vehicles of Crossings Republik using this road.
On several occasion we have approached Authorities in Ghaziabad for this work but we have been told that Sahberi Village falls under jurisdiction of Greater Noida Authority.
This road is a single lane road for the approx. 200 mtr distance. and at some places encroached. Apart from this condition of road is very poor and repeatedly big pot holes comes up on this road. After long follow up by few residents including Mr. Amod Kumar Giri of Crossings Republik work of widening started and also pot holes were filled up approx. 3 month back. However widening work stopped in between after preliminary preparation and was not completed. Also of repairing was so poor that just after one rain bigger pot holes has come up and its nightmare for thousands of people passing this 200 mtr. Stretch as it takes hours to cross this patch.
The bad shape of road through this stretch is not only causing personal loss like health, mental stress, wastage of time & money but also causing national loss by wastage of fuel. At times travelling through this stretch of 200 mtr. takes more than hour and frustrated commuter starts taking internal routes going through village and township which is making life of residents difficult.
We residents of Crossings Republik hereby request you to advise the concerned department to look into this and arrange for widening and repairing on war footing so that we will get relief from daily pain.
We look forward for any early action on ground.
