[CROMA] RE: [CROMA Executive Body] Draft for Mazagine

Dear All,

I think the following regarding CROMA. These are only my own personal views, as I see and think on things myself.

1.       First of all, the bye laws of CROMA as at present and as proposed by any individuals or any subgroups within CROMA should be made public so that it becomes a truly representative body of residents of Crossings Republik, constituted in a  transparent manner.

2.       It should work in a federation manner comprising the RWAs of different societies and not as a parallel association of any kind. There should be a clarity on : (a)  What issues would be taken up by CROMA directly, and (b)On what issues, the initiative has to come from RWA, and on such issues CROMA would only be in an advisory or supportive role.

3.        CROMA, being an interest group of residents, should stand on the side of residents where there is clash of interest or clash of stand taken, by residents and that taken by builders or government bodies. At such crucial times, CROMA should not be inclined towards builder or any other party other than common residents. Interest of common residents should be the prime concern of CROMA.

4.       For financial viability, CROMA should get involved with any commercial activities only and only to the extent that it promotes convenience or facilities for common residents and at least it never causes a nuisance for common residents. Such involvement of CROMA should be in a very transparent manner operationally and financially.

5.        Last but not the least, all the societies including GH-7 should be willing and enthusiastic part of CROMA. Otherwise in the long run, the chances of CROMA being successful in its purpose will be lower. For this, I being a resident of GH-7 suggest that RWA of GH-7 and CROMA both need to earnestly make effort to communicate and sort it out at the earliest possible.

Regarding the motion of restructuring, I am there with the view of majority, be it restructuring or no restructuring.

I also wants to quit in this situation where top leadership is not seems active despite of wrong and illegal action of few members  but quit is not a solution.   We already discussed lot on CROMA function and leadership responsibility.  So now I do not want to discuss more on this.  Now I will talk about action.

I call no-confidence-motion against top 7 position of CROMA leadership, President, Vice president, General Secretary,  3 joint Secretaries and Treasurer.  Motion require 3/5 of majority of existing members.

So I request please cast your vote in support of motion so top 7 position holder can be remove from their post.

Now question come what will be future of CROMA if we remove all these person from post.  We can make a interim governing body who can take care DG issue and other infrastructure issues with CIPL. Same time we can work on CROMA bye laws. i.e how we can improve the function and structure of  CROMA.  Once we are done with the change in Bye laws, CROMA election can be  called on agreed Bye laws.

Hi all,

Even I am in favor of resolving this body as it seems to be of no use now. And if the body can we resolved with 3/5 votes then I would say that we should print the list of members who have still part of body and take their acceptance to resolve the body to proceed.  4 of us have already agreed for the same .

What do you say?

Thank you

All the questions are valid and I also raised many questions in past but didn't get any response on this. I was also waiting the minutes of the last EBM but still don't know who will share it. The President is not answering, Vice President has resigned but still don't know it is accepted or not and few other members have also resigned but the work is still ON and we are absolutely on the wrong boat. Friends, I am sorry but I am not happy with the current Leadship of CROMA.

And if any one approved then I would like to know the reason for same and if this is not approved then I seek action to concern  member or group.

People are taking decision independently without taking EB in confidence. It start from president if this is true that president attended CIPL function on 26th and Mr. Vishal seek clarification with other EB members but did not get any response. I know he is not well and could not attend last EB meeting but at least EB expect a reply over mail. Why this happened if all EB decided that we will not support CIPL in any function.
>

>

And same thing happened with Mr. Shivkant.  Multiple ques was raised on 26th Jan event but no reply. We got mail from Mr. Shivkant on 4th Feb that again he have taken a decision without taking EB in confidence but this time he accepted that he have taken this decision but that does not make any difference.  This started from 15th Aug where president had to take all blame on his head  and carry on with Ramleela where few member put their personal ads without EB approval and some amount was given to Tata motors to get sponsorship and fake bill was generated to settle this amount.  This was very casually informed to few members outside meeting place and I was one of them.

Who approved this act GS /President/Vice President ?

>

Shivkant, please do not take this personal. I am not rising any ques to your integrity my ques is only the way of work
>

>

if I talk about bye laws of CROMA audit of account should be done by qualified auditor every year as per point no 14.  Why this account audit is pending ? Can President and GS answer this ?
>

>

We all agreed in last EB meeting that restructure is required but there was different opinion how we can do that. As  per CROMA bye laws point 19, 20 and 21 Society Registration Act 1860 is applicable wherever EB wants to take any decision.
>

>

As per Society registration Act 1860 point 12 and 13 reference is also mentioned in CROMA bye laws point no 19,20 and 21.  We can alter/extend/dissolve body with 3/5 of majority.  That’s mean we can remove any person, change bye laws  or we can dissolve body.   Also we agreed in last EB meeting that dissolution is not a solution only restructure is required.

>

Now it’s up to EB what’s they want,  remove few members  for smooth function  or run CROMA in same way where CROMA have no time to follow-up infrastructure issue from last 8 months then what is the purpose of CROMA.

On Occasion of Republic Day, Crossings Republik Flat Owners Association (CROMA) in coordination with Columbia Asia Hospital organised a free health checkup camp for the residents of Crossings Republik, at Galleria Market, in which large number of people participated. Doctors from different departments of the hospital did a health check of the residents. Camp was inaugurated by the CROMA President, Shri Gurmukh Singh. CROMA on the occasion, signed an agreement with Columbia Asia Hospital of getting discount for its residents on their medical bills, if they happens to take services of the said hospital in future. This Agreement was signed by Gurmukh Singh and representatives of Columbia Asia Hospital.

Residents on the occasion, took full benefit of the camp and got there health check-up. They also got the health check-up of their children and elders done. Residents felt, such camp should be organised more frequently to facilitate medical requirement under one one roof. Residents praised the effort of the CROMA on the occasion. Residents also pointed out lack of proper medical facilities inside the township and urged CROMA to look into the matter, seriously.

>

Also, on the occasion, Gurmukh Singhji, unveiled a weekly newspaper in the name of City Live. This newspaper will carry local news and will give two dedicated page to Crossings Residents for them to express their views on various issues. Also on the occasion, looking that the daily problems of house hold issues and dis-connect between vendors/service providers and residents, a helpline, called Freedom Helpline was launched for the residents of Crossings Republik. Purpose of this helpline is to connect the service providers/vendors and residents and provide all house hold related services on one platform, under the flagship of Faveo Corporation. The benefit of this helpline would that residents doesn't need to remember the contact numbers of all the service providers or search for them in open market. All residents have to do now, is to dial, 8010101122 and select the service they want. Vendors or service providers will reach the resident themselves. Freedom Helpline will connect all services ranging from emergency medical services to maid hire and even more. This is entirely technology based system. Full function of this helpline will be available from 1st Feb 2013 from 9:30am to 6pm for few services and for rest service will be 24/7

>

For residents, to use this helpline, all they have to do is get themselves registered, so that Helpline server could identify them. All un-registered users will be directly transferred to operators for assistance.

>

To tackle the issue of security, Freedom Helpline has, enrolled all service providers, vendors and their staff, only after getting proper back ground check and verification done. These staff when visiting the flat owner for service will carry Freedom Helpline ID card. For further detail on vendors service, one can reach website of this helpline at www.crossingsrepublik.in
