Gardenia Square Table Tennis Club is organizing Township level Table Tennis Tournament (Single's) for all CR residents (flat owners / tenants). All residents are invited to participate in the tournament. Please cascade it to all the residents.

Below are the tournament details:

Date                      :  17-18th & 23-24th May'14
Venue                   :  Gardenia Square Club
Registration Date :  Till 8pm, 10th May'14
  
 
 u Entry is open for only Crossings Republik (CR) residents (flat owners/tenants)
 u Four Groups :
   u Juniors : Boys, Girls (under 16 years - born on or after 1st Jun'98)
   u Seniors : Males, Females
 u Entry fees: Juniors (Rs. 50), Seniors (Rs. 100)
 u Match schedule will be decided based on "Draw of Lots" at 8pm, 11th May'14. All                participants are requested to be present.
 u Copy of any document containing CR address is required, during registration
 u Copy of document containing DOB is also required for juniors, during registration
 u All matches will be of 5 sets of 11 points each.
 u 2 Prizes (Winner & Runner-up) for each group
 u Matches will happen throughout the day on 17th,18th and 24th May'14. Final                        matches will happen on 25th May'14 morning. Matches can be scheduled in                          weekdays between 19th-23rd May'14, based on no. of participants.

[CROMA] Director of leading private school arrested

Police today arrested a director of a leading private school of Ghaziabad for charging increased fee from parents despite an order against this.

"We have arrested Ratan Beer Singh under Section 188 (disobedience to order duly promulgated by public servant) and Section 384 (punishment for extortion) of the IPC at Siyani Gate police station," Superintendent of Police (city), Shiv Hari Meena told PTI.

Meena also said that FIRs under these sections of the IPC have also been registered against the manager and chairman of the school.

- No official response received so far from school management. Follow up continue. Positive is that school mgmnt doesn't seem to be in position to say straight forward NO in written.

- A letter has been to DM and SSP yesterday to enforce DM order in school on May 03 so that parents can deposit revised fee. Follow up continue.  Today we will speak to him on this matter.

- Ryan PTA vice chairman Mr Kapoor has been made party of this movement and has been asked to help in executing DM order. A meeting can happen today evening with him.

- Other schools like Gurukul, consolidated data for parents received so far will be shared tomorrow with Gurukul school by some parents. Need more participation.

We have still not paid fee, there are other parents as well in other parts of Ghaziabad who haven't paid yet.

Also, there is a reference of UP Govt order on Oct 11, 2011 in which it was mentioned that schools won't increase fee for 3 yrs and their profit should not be more than 20%.

we will not give up on this. If tomorrow's discussion is not fruitful, we will send formal complain to DM, Ghaziabad so that this school can also be added to his list.

so in nutshell, no change in tuition fee and transportation charges. Today I tried reaching her for a written response on my email but no luck.

Friends unless we change this protest to a mass movement, we may not be able to get any success.

we are thinking to write letters to DM and CM to highlight the matter but only god knows how long that will take.

Please pass this to all societies for getting parents views and how to take this forward.

[CROMA] Updates on Township Maintenance Charges (TMC)

 

Dear Crossings Republik Residents,

This is just to inform you that a formal mail has been sent to the COO of Crossings Infrastructure Pvt. Ltd. (CIPL) today to Rollback of the TMC till the Completion of Key Pending Facilities. "CROMA - Infrastructure & Electricity Committee" have a meeting with CIPL Management very soon where we have to discuss about this issue at township level. We are trying to give them a strong message that residents should not be forced to pay the Township Maintenance Charges (TMC) because the basic amenities have not been development yet at township level. 

In this letter, we have referred that due to non-availability of the remaining land fall in patches in the township and various legal disputes, they are facing certain problems in development of the township. So if the land itself is not fully available for development purposes then on what ground they are claiming Township Maintenance Charges. 

Also when they are referring to law, development agreements and policies thereof, complete reference of the same should be mentioned in totality not in isolation favoring one side. Further admission that as a Housing policy of the State for integrated township and in Development Agreement executed between Ghaziabad Development Authority (GDA) and Crossings Infrastructure Pvt. Ltd. (CIPL), there is a specific provision/condition that Developer/Licensee shall maintain the services till they are transferred it to the Local Body for maintenance, so therefore kindly note that since within the township, construction is ongoing on and township is not completed yet, therefore CIPL, as a developer, is required to maintain all of the facilities as mentioned in their letter on their own.

We will keep you posted with the status on this issue in future as well.
