It is a very good step taken by AAAAO, The same should be implemented by CIPL for all the GH-6 societies. I would like to thank all those members who took time off to attend this meeting on 22nd Dec 2014 with reference to the letter issued by CIPL dated 15th Dec 2014 to every society that they are clubbing Township Maintenance Charges (TMC) and Electricity of every society and threatening that if the society will not pay the TMC Charges then the Electricity of that society will be disconnected immediately. Accordingly CIPL Management has refused accepting the Electricity Bills from Arihant Ambience Society RWA/AOA. On this issue, the Arihant AOA Team led by Mr. Vinod Daftari met with DM, Ghaziabad (Mr. Vimal Sharma) on 20th Dec 2014 and he forwarded this matter to the Secretary of GDA, Mr. Ravindra Godbole to further call a meeting on Monday dated 22nd Dec 2014 with the residents and CIPL and close this matter ASAP. Accordingly Mr. R. K. Jaiswal – Executive Engineer, Zone-5 as well as Mr. Anant Ram Rahi, Asst. Engineer, GDA Zone-5 has been instructed to take necessary action on the same to close this issue ASAP. Today, Mr. Rahi and Mr. Singh visited at Crossing Infrastructure office at 11:30 AM and the issues were discussed on the above subject. Here are the points discussed and agreed among the team.
1) During our meeting, CROMA and AOA Members conveyed this message and put the previous correspondence and relevant papers on the table that in past, ADM-City and GDA Vice Chairman strictly instructed CIPL Management that Township Maintenance Charges (TMC) cannot be clubbed with Electricity Charges. So there is no way for refusing accepting the Electricity Payment of every society. (Please find the enclosed attachment as previous correspondence in this regard.)
2) During the meeting, Mr. Rahi instructed GM-City, Mr. Sanjeev Sinha that electricity in any society should not be disconnected in any situation. It is a criminal offence and a basic need to survive in the multi-storied building. He also instructed to accept the Electricity Cheque from every society.
3) For Township Maintenance Charges, CROMA strictly conveyed the message to them that until and unless our priority issues (such of shortage of Sanctioned Power Supply, Road Connectivity, Fire Station, Hospital, Visitor Parking Space, Uniform Electricity Rate for Main Power Supply as per UP Govt. prescribed rate, provision of Ganga Water, Boundry wall around Township etc.) will not be addressed, none of the society will pay a single rupee for the same to CIPL. Mr. Rahi instructed GM-City to sit with CROMA and other AOA Office Bearers within 7 days and close this matter and keep GDA updated with the status. Further meeting can be called, if any grievances will be there.
4) Moreover while discussion with GDA official; we came to know that GH-6 compounding has not been done by GDA yet. Due to this GDA is not able to issue the Completion Certificate for any of the society in Crossings Republik. Mr. Rahi also told us that he is planning to issue Part Completion Certificate for those societies whose compounding will be done.
5) Mr. Vishal Aery, President, CROMA informed GDA officials to get the information on removal of Indane Gas Agency from the township and Mr. Rahi confirmed that some meeting with CIPL, GDA and Khwaja Garib Nawaz Indane Gas Agency is already going on and they are planning to shift it to another location. CIPL will keep CROMA updated with the status on the same.
6) Mr. Rahi also told CIPL official that a PR System should be set up to acknowledge the complaint and common issues and can be tracked it accordingly for the ease of communication with residents. It was also agreed that the CIPL Management will share the Calculation of City Maintenance Expenses of Township with CROMA and other AOA/RWA and will pursue to stop unauthorized construction in Plot No GH-6.
Note: CROMA wanted to say thanks to the Team of Arihant Ambience RWA/AOA members for taking up this issue which is affecting the whole Crossings Republik society.
