in order to prevent yourself from being cheated, buy the stuff yourself from the market (branded century ply) - blockboard, plyboard, sunmica, fevicol, etc. and give him on labour rate which is around 150/- per sq. ft.
ghantaghar area has many shops, you can also see some in CR and shahberi. you can also try Jagatpuri market (east delhi).
if you dont have time, the rate is 600 - 700/- per sq. ft. but in that case check the material used, so that you are not fooled.
