Deciding the petition filed by me the U.P government observed that the shopping complex was sanctioned and raised in violation of building bye-laws and fire safety bye laws and hence went on to cancel the sanction granted earlier by Ghaziabad Development Authority. It was also observed that the shopping complex was sanctioned via collusion with GDA as its sanction is in gross violation of bye-laws. GDA has further been instructed to take further action in this respect. Now hopefully the shopping complex will be demolished soon. There are several other building bye-laws and fire-safety bye law violation in Mahagun Mascot which shall be investigated by a separate committee (pls see order) that has been formed by UP govt. You the current resident of Mahagun Mascot are in the meanwhile requested to be vigilant and be extra careful. The buildings of Mahagun Mascot have been raised wholly in violation of building bye-laws and fire safety bye laws and are hence unsafe for human in-habitation. Fatal injury including DEATH can result as a result of these violations. The requisite NOCs from fire department and the completion certificate has not been acquired. You have taken possession at your own risk and you and only you shall be responsible for any accident that happens in Mahagun Mascot.
I have been fighting this evil alone since January 2011 and have not received any help from other residents.
