Yea, I have heard a lot about the theft of taps from the empty flats. This is really a very serious issue because it is a security threat, today this has happened with the property but tomorrow it can happen with the human lives as well. This has happened to me as well.

I have just shifted to Assotech - The Nest this month and attack on my property assets has also been made. After getting shifted over here, I got my Tata Sky dish installed on the terrace and the wire from the terrace (22nd floor) to our floor(8th floor) was installed. Only one day after this installation, at 10 - 10.15 PM we were watching TV, we heard the noise coming out of window and suddenly Tata Sky stopped working and the wire fell from the terrace. We pulled in all the wire from the window and checked the other end of the wire. It was cut with a wire cutter. Then I went to the terrace to check, and found that the wire was cut from the terrace with a fine wire cutter.

I still can't understand that in just 1 day after shifting, with whom I did anything wrong and who has become my enemy.

Hi All,
I would like to get your attention towards the theft happening in Flat No 1158 in Romanao tower. I owned this 2 BHK flat and yesterday morning when I visited Flat, I found that the main door and the lock was broken. Some one had stolen all the water taps from Kitchen and both the bathrooms from my empty flat. I found it really scary first and that how could some one do it in a society and what the guards are doing.
I spoke to the maintenance department who took their own sweet time to arrive at the Flat and then I came to know that the similar incident had happened in Flat No 1658 (Romano) and two-three other flats also in some other tower.

This is a real serious issue and cannot be taken lightly as many families are living there  and it is a risk to everyone. I would like all the residents to pay stricter attention to it and look for the thief as these may happen in immediate future also. There is a pattern in theft and they are eying only vacant flats till now but you never know when they would start attacking on all sorts of flats.

In my case, this has happened the night before yesterday only. I would get the IRON Gate installed as early as possible and would request fellow residents also for the same who have not done this till now.
