I would say that take the possession and then challenge their agreement in the consumer court for it being biased towards the builder and all the loss that you have suffered because of the delay in possession.

All the real estate development companies take advantage of the weak laws & snail paced judiciary that we have in our country. I would also like to inform everybody that we can  post our comments/suggestions towards the Draft Real Estate Bill 2011 at the website : http://mhupa.gov.in/

Hi Satya,

Ms. Nidhi or whoever - does not really matter. You would have to call them again n again like a snooze alarm to get an update.

Just make sure that you make every payment due to them as per the "one sided" agreement they drafted otherwise you would end up paying interest @18% per annum to them on the outstanding amount.

Can anyone please share the status on Mahagun Majestic tower development work at Mahagun Mascot? And also if anyone has received the penalty cheque for late possession for Mahagun Majestic. Per the agreement they were supposed to start sending penalty cheques from Oct 2011. As I am based outside of Delhi, I have tried calling up Nidhi and have sent her several emails to know the status but haven't received a single response. Based on the communication that I have read in this forum, I am not surprised by this non-response from Mahagun staff. This is highly frustrating but that's what one goes through being an investor at Mahagun projects.
 
I had participated in the first demonstration carried out by CROMA against the Dumping yard issue. Since the last 1-year I have moved to Odisha.

Do any of you guys have any updates of widening of NH24 for UP gate to Dasana by NHAI.  As when is the project going to start.
As every news articles mentioned by 2015 will be expressway from UP Gate till Merrut.
 
If you guys have any updates, please let me know OR otherwise we will file an RTI for the status.
