Dear President-RWA Team and Office bearers of RWA Team / Ad-hoc Committee Members,
Coming Durga Puja, CROMA is looking to celebrate this at township level. Hence we would like to invite all RWAs /Ad-hoc committees of CR, to come and join hand together and celebrate this festive in a very big way.
For this, CROMA is going to appoint an empowered committee, Empowered Committee of Culture (ECC) which will consist the members from CROMA and appointed members from RWAs/ Ad-hoc Committees to organizing this festive. This committee, will plan, decide and execute the entire function. CROMA request you all to kindly appoint members, who are willing to take responsibility, from your society into this committee.
This committee will be high powered committee, which take decision, plan and execute the plan. However, whatever plan this committee will make initially, it will be subjected get approval from CROMA Executive Body. Also, in event of any major deviation from initially proposed plan by this committee, during the execution of the approved plan, it will require get re-approval from CROMA Executive Body. To remind you all, CROMA executive body is consists of members from different RWAs/ Ad-hoc Committees.

A separate role, function and power these two bodies will be circulated soon, to draw clear boundaries.
However, Bengali Cultural Society (CRBCA) is also planning the same event in CR with members spread across different societies. CROMA, respect their views and hence, is proposing to celebrate this festive together by supporting the function organised by CRBCA along with planning its own functions in such a way that entire festive is shared and organised by both bodies without disturbing each others' plan. For example, Durga Mandap and puja functions can be handled by CRBCA while CROMA can handle Ramayana play, Ravan Dehan and other cultural shows. RWAs can also, put up their show, if they wishes to do so. Details of plan will be shared with all after consulting CRBCA and ECC.
CROMA, on its part has already started doing basic ground work for ECC in organizing these events, like getting cost estimate from vendors, checking with sponsors and checking the cultural show artists, since it is
the first. Once ECC is in place, all execution will be handed over to ECC.
Requesting you all, to kindly join us, as soon as possible, in organizing this festive and make it big in our township.
