Demonstration at Jantar Mantar on 9th Feb at 11 AM  in support of  Widening of NH-24 and 58
 
Dear Friends,
Jai Hind,
 
You are well aware of the crying need of the widening of the National Highways 24 and 58. While other National Highways emanating from Delhi like Delhi – Agra, Delhi – Jaipur, Delhi – Chandigarh etc have been widened, NH-24 and NH-58 have been given a back seat. In an answer to a question in the Parliament, the Honourable Minister for the Surface Transport said that NH-24 and NH-58 will be widened to 10 to 16 lanes in different strtches but he can not give a time schedule because the proposal is not yet approved. This, by implication, means that we have to wait indefinitely which we are not prepared to.
 
Friends to start with, RWA Federation Ghaziabad has planned a Demonstration at Janatar Mantar, New Delhi on 9th Feb 2013 at 11 AM. You being a member of the RWA Federation Ghaziabad and also being an affected party are requested to participate in the said Demonstartion. Kindly take it as a mandatory requirement. Let us show our solidarity on the Roads. Participation in this Demonstration is not limited to the Office Bearers of the RWAs but it is open to all Citizens of Ghaziabad.
 
We particularly request the respected Ladies to participate in the subject Demonstration and also motivate thier family members to do so. Since we are not connected to every one on the e-mail and since total details can not be conveyed through the SMS, you are requested to convey this message to all your acquaintances and persuade them to reach Jantar Mantar well in time. The demonstration will last about two hours i.e from 11 AM to 01 PM. A record will be maintained of all those who took part and all out efforts will be made by the Federation to give priority to resolve their issues in future.
 
The Demonstration for Widening of NH-24 and 58 will be led by the Chairman of the RWA Federation Ghaziabad Col Tejandra Pal Tyagi, Vir Chakra.
