Re: [CROMA] Getting to crossings republik- A nightmare

Hello Ankit,

This is the largest concern for all of us who are living here. And we hope that situation to improve in near future. By far our administration is a poor lot and they take time to implement things in reality sector.

My remarks are within your mail. No offence here here your points are valid and have answers within.

The only purpose to send this email was to check with all the hon'ble group members and dwellers that if they too face the same, what I have faced.
I agree with you that jams are everywhere however this should not taken for granted just because jams are everywhere. You might not be interested to know that who is shifting or not, but let me tell you few stories, that brought this lovely township into limelight and that too for wrong reasons.

1- No lighting on the road: There have been number of instances where people are stopped by goons on gun point and looted.

This is how our system work.  The whole Greater Noida West was a village and converted to residential location. You will find farmers protest even today for better compensation. The hurdles are beurocratic. Since the police to population ratio has changed so fast in the last couple of years this situation is set to arise.  Trans hindon region is filled with anti-social elements. Think about this they pose as police personnel and loot, and still get away the recent incident which happened with one of the resident and the FIR was not lodged by them citing huge pendency of cases.

2- In peak hours, wastage of time and money- Need not to write that how much time and fuel we all would waste, while crawling on roads that take us to CR.

This situation is everywhere. Why do you think it's only in CR? If you are so concerned then take public transport or carpooling.

3- Encroachment- The entire shahberi stretch is full of encroachment and that has made easy movement to CR a nightmare.

80% of traffic connecting CR with GNIDA West is from NH24. They enter this stretch to avoid jam on NH24.

4- NH 24 Widening- This is what we all have been hearing for ages, still we "common people" are forced to be optimistic even when there is no silver lining in sable cloud.

You cannot help it Ghaziabad is an avoided territory by Lucknow. The political parties will always try to make a killing. And it has been won by Rajnath Singh for last decade. While it is Rulled by BSP & SP in UP

5- Alternate route to connect CR- This is also a disputed matter as the small piece of land can not be acquired by GDA/CR management and thus there is no connectivity.

The idea of this email is to check that what are the action taken by CROMA or GDA and how we (the residents or the flat owners) can help these authorities. Nothing personal or against any one but for everyone's sake :-)

Thanks,
Ankit

I clearly don't understand the
reason of sending this mail. There are thousands of families
living in CR and all knows the benefits and issues. Whole
NCR gets jammed during peak hours, it's not just NH24 or
Shahberi. I come back to my home late night via Noida
Extension side and I can say one thing, if something bad has
to happen with anyone, it can happen in completely crowded
area also. It does not mean we shud stop living our life or
crib about jams and low lights. All the family living in
crossing love there township and working with each other
hard to make one the best places to live in.
So I don't thing anyone is interested to
know who is shifting and who is not. It's your personal
decision. That is the reason I said in the start that what
is the purpose of this email I don't understand.
Thanks,

Amit Anand

Dear All,

I have my apartment in xing republik and I was planning to
shift there in this March however I have to revisit my
decision now as getting to xing republik is not easy....The
road from xing to Gaur chowk and further till sec 71 Noida
is always plunged into total darkness. The road to xing via
shahberi is pathetic and I was just wondering that to pass
merely 1.5 km stretch, it takes almost 1.5 hrs. NH 24 is
also jammed and in worst state as always..Xing republik is
indeed a great place to live however getting into xing is
not less than a nightmare, the GDA must have got a decent
money by registry charges and central govt too must have got
decent share by service tax etc...still this apathy..

Thanks,

Ankit
