Yes, AAP is a lesser evil as of now, let them complete 5 yrs then, also I believe Jindals don't fall in big corporate category just because they are backing AAP.

It is not so. Both SP and Bjp are similar in corruption. Bjp is just trying to make money from big corporates in name of development of nation and SP makes money while spending money on projects for minorities. Rather than choosing between lesser evil of two. We need a real change like delhi where people threw out both the corrupt parties of bjp and congress and brought AAP into power. We should vote in next assembly election with a perspective to reduce corruption.

Don't worry... under the present BJP govt., development work will be of high priority.
It's NH, so under the central govt., so work will progress.
Would have been nice if the same govt was in UP... but for that change we have to wait till 2017

seems work has started near up gate at ghazipur border, but it looks like
its the work for elevated road from up gate to rajnagar extn, which has got priority over NH24 widening

I don't think it is going to happen soon as last time when tender was floated no private company bidded for tender. Private companies are unwilling to work for such projects in UP due to high corruption.  They will bribe one party now to get tender now and before they complete the work another party will come to power who will again demand big money in bribe to release payment making whole project unviable for the developer.

When they surveyed and approved it to be 6 lane from 4 was ages back. Hi 

I think it is going to be executed once all the "preparations" have been done. There are various stakeholders and all need to be "satisfied". 

The residents/travelers are just one kind of stakeholders who will benefit from a better lifestyle, saved time in travel etc. 

Stakeholders with "Appreciation of property" agenda is another kind. There are others who will like to share the spoils. 

Until all this is sorted out and "agreed", lets wait and enjoy the multiple approval stories:) We have waited a decade, another few is expected.
