I don't think it is going to happen soon as last time when tender was floated no private company bidded for tender. Private companies are unwilling to work for such projects in UP due to high corruption.  They will bribe one party now to get tender now and before they complete the work another party will come to power who will again demand big money in bribe to release payment making whole project unviable for the developer.

there wony be any time saved if you look at it in actual. every day there are cars, taxis, Vikram's, buses, trucks and other are added to roads. When they surveyed and approved it to be 6 lane from 4 was ages back. Since then traffic had multiplied and now when they actually start working on it and take ages to complete another number of vehicles would be in road, so in percentage we would be same. It will be more number of lanes with more number of vehicles. I really don't anticipate, that they will make it from 4 to 14 or 16. Hi 

I think it is going to be executed once all the "preparations" have been done. There are various stakeholders and all need to be "satisfied". 

The residents/travelers are just one kind of stakeholders who will benefit from a better lifestyle, saved time in travel etc. 

Stakeholders with "Appreciation of property" agenda is another kind. There are others who will like to share the spoils. 

Until all this is sorted out and "agreed", lets wait and enjoy the multiple approval stories:) We have waited a decade, another few is expected.

It has been approved 99 times.....point is the execution...which is going to take ages!!
