Subject: Re: [CROMA] Update on IGL Pipeline
Hi,
I am from Crossings Infra. Thanks for the update on IGL pipeline.
I am disturbed by the comment "IGL had meetings with RWA and the builder. There are concerns raised by RWA that the IGL pipeline will damage the beautification of the common areas. No common ground could be reached".
Assuming that the reason stated above is correct, the following are the views -
Piped natural gas is a necessity and very beneficial for all users. I as a resident do not know when this issue was discussed with RWA. i must clarify that i am not part of GH7 RWA at this point in time. However, they should have discussed the issue in their GBM (and shared minutes of the same with all residents) before deciding on it. It is not the RWA's prerogative to unilaterally decide on issues affecting a majority of residents without even consulting them.
Decisions on such matters must be taken after consulting residents. The benefits of PNG will far outweigh the benefits from maintaining the beauty of the place. If some people are so concerned about beauty, they should first take care of following points -
1. Stop people from parking their cars in places apart from their reserved ones. Cars are parked haphazardly in common areas of the society daily causing great nuisance.
2. Stop the sewer water that flows from leakages in pipes in the basements
3. Arrange for removal of stray dogs from society premises
4. Have strict policy for people defacing lifts, spitting pan masala etc. in common areas
The list can go on forever... Important thing is to do a cost benefit analysis and then take a call rather than blocking important projects on flimsy grounds.
As a resident of GH7, i eagerly await PNG, unless someone can convince me logically that i shouldn't.

The feasibility and the implementation of the plan is conducted by the Consultant team(Led by Manish Sah)IGL line setup is complete around Crossings. Its upto the builders to initiate the gas pipeline. The residents of the respective societies need to request the builders to initiate the discussion with IGL. Please intimate CROMA if there is any issue in setting up a meeting with IGL.2) IGL gas stationsThe two gas stations in Crossings are ready for operations from the past few months. The roadblock is the fact that the area given on lease to IGL by Crossings management was not shown in the map to GDA for opening a gas station. The map now needs to be converted to accommodate a change of use. This is taking time.Regards,IT & Communication CommitteeCROMA, Crossings RepublikNH-24, Ghaziabad (U.P.)
