[CROMA] Process of Getting License at Ghaziabad RTO

 

Thank you Pradeep for such a elaborate mail.

My License was getting expired and I was also in dilemma that how to get my License Renewed / New License made.

Based on your message, on 18th Jan (Saturday) I went to Ghaziabad RTO office for New License as my earlier license was from my Native place in Bihar.

To Reach RTO office Take the lane adjacent to Hyundai Showroom on left side service lane of NH 24 just before Columbia Asia Hospital, 

If you are going from Crossings side take left towards Ghaziabad city from NH24 before Columbia Asia &  take U turn on service lane and turn right after Hyundai and keep going straight after approx. 1/2 km you will find RTO office on left side.


After reaching there As a general mentality for easy route I thought to check with a Broker there and did so, he asked me Rs. 700 for learner license and again I will have to pay Rs. 1000 for permanent license. I decided to try on my own as I was already at RTO office.

Process was pretty easy only you will have to go to 4-5 different counter and it will take around 2.5 to 3 hr. I reached there around 11 am and by 3 PM I was at my home after completing all the formalities.

On 28th Jan I received the License by Speed post i.e. in 10 days.

1) Carry Addres Proof, ID Proof copy with Original and one Photograph
2) Carry envelop with postage stamp of Rs. 25 for despatch of License by post. You can purchase it their also, which you will get at Rs. 40
3) Collect Form from Main Reception by paying cost of Rs. 6 for One Set.
4) Verification of Photograph : Fill in all 3 forms, affix Photo and go to Window no. 12 for getting your photograph attested.
5) Attestation of Address & ID Proof : Go to Window no. 15 - A, here you will be required to produce original Address & ID Proof with set of Filled in Forms & Copy of Address & ID Proof.
6) On Adjacent Window deposit the fee for Learner License, Fee is 60 hence you will get receipt of 60 but clerk will deduct 70. He will put a manual no. for photograph.
7) Go to the window for getting your photograph clicked, I guess window no. was 14 not able to recall correctly.
8) Wait for next Batch of Test for learner license Its timing was 10-30. 11.30 & 1.30, I gave in 1.30 batch
9) Its over, return back and wait for post, I have received it on 11th Days.

Total Expense : Rs. 110 (70 Fee + 40 Envelope wih postage stamp) in addition to expense on Xerox.

Best part is by involving Broker you will be able to save time only on Depositing the Fee & Test will be waived, for all the other thing you will be required to be present on your own. You have to fill form on your own, for photograph verification you are required to be there as they try to match photograph with your face, photograph clicking happens as per the no. given on the fee receipt. by Involving you can get in done in 1.5 - 2 Hr. instead of 3 - 3.5 hr.

PROCEDURE TO APPLY FOR DRIVING LICENSE IN GHAZIABAD

                NO CORRUPTION! NO TIME WASTE! SAVE MONEY!
Info below will help you to apply for learning driving license without any help of broker.
Total cost will be Rs. 120-160.
Just follow these simple steps.
1)You require
i.   4 passport size photos
ii.  Original + photocopy of Address proof (voter id , ration card or any other valid address proof)
iii. Original + photocopy of Date of birth proof (PAN card ,Birth  certificate, 10th passing certificate or marksheet or any other date of birth certificate).
iv. Two envelops one for post with Rs 5 printed ticket and paste one Rs 20 speed post ticket on it and other blank envelop of approx. same size. Mention your name and receiving address on both.
NOTE: Photocopies of documents should be attested . You can also attest them and buy envelops by the officer outside the R.T.O. office parking gate.
He will take Rs.  40  for both envelops and Rs. 10 per doc or proof.
After completing above steps follow below ones.

2) Go to enquire office and buy  learning license form no.2 and form no. 1-A which cost Rs 4 and fill it with help of receptionist who gave you the form .
  Paste two photos on appropriate space provided for it.
  Attach 2 photos on the right top corner outside and documents/proofs & envelops inside.
  You should also mention ur mobile no. on the top of the form

3) After completing it, you should go for verification process outside room no.15 क at the back of enqire office with original documents between 10 a.m to1 p.m.
 This step is compulsory for all either u have come with help of broker
If u are GIRL then u will have your no. as u go.

4) After verification, pay registration fees Rs 60 on the counter no. 15 next to it  (he can charge  you Rs 10 extra for himself ,to avoid this u should give Rs 60 change).

5) Now u have to go to room no 12 inside from the  gate near room no.12 and 11  if gate is opened, if not u can go from enquire office also and find the room no. 12. and get signed your form with an officer  inside

6) Now go to room no. 15 inside give objective test having 16 easy questions only . After completing it, submit the test & pay the fees Rs 30.

This step will take 10-20 minutes depending on ur knowledge and common sense. You can take help with someone near u or with u.

PROCESS IS OVER NOW .
NOTE: 1) To get your work on time you must go before 12 noon.
             2) TIMINGS of verification outside room no. 15 b/w 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.  and for  test is b/w 10 a.m.to 2 p.m.

You will recieve your license through speed post at your posting address which u have mentioned on the post envelope in 10 to 15 days.

AVOID CORRUPTION with doing your work yourself and SAVE MONEY more than Rs. 500 per person.
