I have been associated with FolksVagn for over a year now. It's a fantastic system. Much much better than a regular car-pool.
It is flexible. You use it whenever you want to use it. No compulsions of using it every day. Also, everything is per-ride based.
While driving, you get paid per passenger per ride. As a passenger, you pay for the ride and it's done. And what I like the most is that I can change my time on a per-ride basis.
+ they have put everything on sms now. 2-3 sms's in a day and the ride+payment is sorted.
You will take a couple of days to settle into it. But then it will be super convenient.
I am thinking we should promote such services here. Imagine if all of us are connected to the same system, none of us would have to travel alone or use public transport.
What do you think? They do camps in residential colonies as well. We can probably ask them to come and camp here for a day?
