Dog / pet excrement not only spoils the physical clealiness of surroundings, but poses serious health hazards and spreads diseases.
Just think: Dog pee / shit on the green grass or park where our elderly sit, or little kids play, and they come in direct contact with this excreta! Do we want to expose our loved ones to such a threat???
We all love pets, and there are so many responsible and sensible pet owners, who take utmost care of ensuring that no one else is inconvenienced and the society is kept clean. BUT there are some odd ones out there who care a dime about others..they just want to keep their houses clean, and dirty the green grass, play area, pavements, parking lots, Lifts, Staircases with their dog pee and poop everywhere..discreetly.
Respective RWA / AAOs may frame guidelines at community level but :
HERE IS HOW WE CAN HELP: Where ever we see such neglect being done by some pet owners who care a hoot about the society...pls dont ignore or turn your face towards the other side... but engage with them and tell them in clear words that this is NOT acceptable...it is OUR society / township and we need to keep it clean. Raise an alarm create a ruckus do whatever needs to be done to make them mend their ways.

You have raised very valid point. I am not against animals or pets but most residents who are having pets like dog are creating nuissance in society. While they dont allow pets to dirty their house. They are making their pets to dirty and loitter whole society garden and township pavements etc without caring any bit about uncomfort to residrnts and housekeeping staff. Further they are creating threat to life of elder and small children by bringing their dogs to lift making children and weak persons vulnerable.
Hence I would request Rwa of each society to either ban pets in society or make some rules regarding them. Currently pet owners are not taking any responsibility for their pets.
