It is better to buy the raw materials for woodwork yourself from market and give him at labour rate of Rs. 120 per sq.ft. Or give him at Rs. 600 per sq.ft. but make sure to check the quality of ply board, sunmica, etc he is using.

Hello All
I want to get following things done in my flat
1. Iron Gate at Main Door
2. Iron Gate at Drawing Room Balcony 
3. Wood work in kitchen
4. Almirah in bedroom

I checked with one carpenter who is asking 1.25 lakhs for all this. Negotiable to 1 lakh if I go for Semi Furnished Kitchen.
He is asking 6K for Main door Iron Gate, 15K for Iron Gate at balcony & Around 1 lakh for Wooden Kitchen & 2 Almirahs

Can any one suggest me ideal price of each item separately & also if you know any carpenter who can get all things done at reasonable price & with good quality.
