Dear Residents,

 

Following the incident of robbery and abduction near Sector 71 Noida at night on 02.09.2015, team CROMA, represented by Mr. Tanveer Hayat (Vice President) and Mr. Anurag Singh (Executive Member) visited the office of District Magistrate and Circle Officer (2) to discuss the issue of increasing incidents of failure of law and order situation. Team CROMA was accompanied by NEFOMA (Noida Extension Flat Owners Main Association and FONRWA (Federation of Noida Resident Welfare Association)
 
 

A representation, containing following demands (copy enclosed), was submitted to both the authorities.

 
1. Installation of CCTV Camera;
 
2. Traffic police at all traffic lights; and
 
3. Pickets at - Opp Globus School, FNG Roundabout and Gaur Roundabout

 

Meeting with District Magistrate (Mr. N. P. Singh)

 
The District Magistrate was already seized of the matter and has assured us that he shall take all necessary action in this regard and that he shall speak to the SP regarding the same. The meeting lasted for about 10 Minutes.

 

Meeting with Circle Officer (2) (Dr. Anoop Singh)

 
Dr. Singh is also seized of the matter and had already talked the victim earlier in the day. The victim has been called tomorrow to get a sketch of the accused made.
 
He has assured us that high resolution (360 degree) camera shall be installed at all the three points , Sector 71 Traffic light, Opposite Globus School and ant FNG Roundabout and that talks regarding the same has already been initiated.

With regard to the positioning of traffic police he immediately called the officer in-charge near FNG roundabout and instructed him to install zig-zig barricading and check all vehicles specially during night (This was to start tonight itself). Apart from this there will be two mobile vans at two intersections.

 
Further, in respect of demand of pickets we were told that he is already working on a police a chowki near CNG station at FNG Roundabout and the same shall be operational within 7-10 days.
 
The meeting lasted for about 3 Hours (7:15 P.M. to 10:00 P.M.)
