[CROMA] Anyone aware of procedure to file a case in Consumer court (against Micromax)

 

Hi all,

I intend to file a consumer court case against Micromax for selling a substandard product and for failing to repair it repeatedly. Micromax as well as its service centers (at least the one in Noida) are taking the consumers for a ride as they have the most pathetic service I have seen in private sector companies till date and no mode of escalating a complaint!

Is anyone aware (first hand) of the procedure to file a case in consumer court and how much time does it take to file the same - do I need to hire a lawyer for this or can this be filed in a single visit to the Consumer Court myself. I would probably be filing it in Noida.

Looking forward to some suggestion/guidance on this.
