This will result in two activity:
1. people will start misusing the backup electricity, assuming unlimited usage based on fixed charges.
2. people who has limited/minimal use will end up paying extra.
It would be good if we can put some penalty for electricity outage due to their faults, and this be based on timing like..if outage is for 1 hr then x amount of penalty if 2 hour then 2*x amount of penalty and so on. This money can go in CROMA fund for Crossing welfare.

Subject: Re: [CROMA] Again Big power Cut
I suggest to group that we should ask them to move to fix the backup charges as part of maintenance. This can be a reasonable amount for example 2 - 3k which will be fixed and will be deducted every month from every flat which has taken power back up as an option. There are many societies in Noida which have kept this back up charge as fixed part in there monthly maintenance. This will serve few purposes
1: The total cost will be splitted among every flat owner who has taken back up irrespective of the actual usage.
2: This amount is very high in summer months and reasonably high in winter months now, with fixed price model the amount will be same every month irrespective of the usage.
3: We do not have to burden ourselves with the arising cost of power back up due to faults at their end.
3: We do not have to burden ourselves with the arising cost of power back up due to faults at their end.
There could be other debatable points and we can work on the nitty gritties If all the stakeholders agree to this. we can also think of some similar option. In the present scenario, these faults can and will occur from time to time and we will hear similar replies of helplessness from management's end.

Yes this is very serious issue. From last ~20 -25 days this problem of electricity we are facing only we are getting electricity for ~5-6 hours which causes unnecessary burden of 12 Rs+tax per Unit as a power back on us.We all should come together & meet and create pressure on them to regularize electric supply in township otherwise situation can be more worse than this ..Thanks,Manoj GuptaOn Fri, Jun 1, 2012 at 12:42 PM, Navneet Bishnoi <navneet.bishnoi@gmail.com> wrote:I would say not only CROMA but we should meet them in numbers to put presssure...NavneetOn Thu, May 31, 2012 at 8:53 PM, abhishek saxena <abhishek.r.saxena@gmail.com> wrote:
