Re: [CROMA] New Highway

 

As per my knowledge and information the modi govt talking about the NH-24(6/8 lane) widening from UP Gate to Dasna(49 km)...then NHAI will build a new road from DASNA to meerut(6lane).

Earlier it was estimated as 6000 crore but the new survey concluded it as 7800 crore.

Last date of submission of e tender has been changed from 26 June to 15 July because of wrong estimation.
Govt has already floating the tender for the shifting of transmission line from UP gate to hapur bypass.

As per my views , that highway is already under construction just after the hindon bridge, you can see while travelling to noida from gaur city roundabout.The same will be  connected to mohannagar hindon bridge and there after it will be connected to Meerut.

Yes not doubt at present highway going to Meerut is NH-58, however their is a long pending proposal to have another Express Highway (Toll Road) to Meerut, which would be initiating from NH24 somewhere after Dasna Toll plaza(Towards Hapur). I think that is the one in context here, if I am not wrong.
