In the vicinity of Ghaziabad, convenient shops have become the shopping mall and most of the societies facing one or more inconvenience due to unauthorized construction of shops by deviation from Bye-Laws of UP APPT ACT and Bye-Lawys OF 2000 -2008 of GDA.
There are various societies to quote as example like Amrapali Green has 40 shops instead of maximum 8 shops for the convenience of residents of this society. Similarly Windsor Park has 42 shops where only 18 convenient shops can be allowed. Exotica Elegance has 36 shops where only 8 convenient shops,Raj hans appt has above than 60 shops where only 9 shops could have been allowed and you imagine about aditya city, gaur green, krishna apra and shipra.
As per bye-laws of GDA, convenient shops are allowed depending upon the population of society with the limited size of shop but builder is selling the bigger size shop at the much higher price.
Federation of AOA has sent a complaint to the GDA and it is expected that very soon necessary directions will be passed in the interest of residents.
