HI,

For new ppl not having awareness of DG

In front of Exotica & Prateek on opposite side of Road (The area covered by Boundry Wall), GNN is planning to make a Solid Wast Management Plant (SWMP) where Solid Waste of complete Ghaziabad will be dumped and processed for production of Electricity by burning the part of Solid Waste which can be burnt balance will be left as it is.

Case against this proposed plant has been lost by Ansal & CIPL in High Court in 2011.

At present Case is in Supreme Court, as per my understanding there was 2 major hurdle for GNN 

1) They were having land short by 19 Acres, now which has been obtained from Greater Noida. 
2) NOC for Pollution / Environment, GNN is trying to get the NOC by putting their case that the proposed plant is a very advance plant and this will not affect environment and human health. Just think that even if we buy the argument of GNN, whole day Trucks filled with Kachra will be plying on this road, a mountain like Gazipur will come up in front of us with the unburnt portion of solid waste.

We have done a protest on Last Sunday that pollution NOC should not be given and it should be shifted to some other location, in this protest approx. 1000 ppl (Approx. 50 Ladies) participated. Everyone of us should have been participated in this as only these protest will make GNN and district administration to rethink their decision.

In this protest SDM came and told that they will arrange a meeting of senior official concerned with it in crossing where crossing residents can express their views.

If nothing positive response received from district administration Similar protest will be done probably on 7th July.

Hi All,

This is not good for CR residence. We all have invested our hard earn money to buy flat and if DG comes then our investment will go in waste.

We collectively have to put some effort.

And from the above info shared by Suraj it shows that govt. has decide to do this.

Dear CR residents, it seems GNN is now putting all its full efforts for acquiring more land for DG and GNA has given 19 acre of land to GNN for this SWMP. Now its full war, GNN has sufficient land as initially planned for SWMP. But from SC point of view Pollution certification is important not the size of land.
