To avoid Vehicles of any size from crossing over, here is a solution used world over : 



Any size tires would go flat out the moment it hits these spikes, but the traffic in the right direction(towards Noida for eg in the evening) will easily pass over it as the gradient is along the flow of traffic. Install one of these at half the width of the road going towards Noida in the evening and nobody would dare make 3rd fourth or fifth lines against these spikes.

Till the time this pulia gets constructed,let us give opinion about these two options if possible.

1)Request authorities to make it one way in morning 8:30AM to 10:AM and evening 6:0 PM to 8:PM. vehicles can be restricted for entry at NH24 itself and asked to use next cut which will take them to Gaur circle.

2)There is one small breaker just after Shahberi pulia. This slows down vehicles even after crossing pulia when coming from Noida. Flattening this breaker will clear traffic faster.

3)Security guards should push for only two lanes at pulia. Most of the time i have observed heavy cars just break the line and make third/new line.this restricts movement of traffic from other side.At least one security person should guard at 150 meters from pulia to stop third line.

Does any one has an update on the time frame by which the widening of Shahberi pulia and construction of pulia behind GH 07 will be complete.

Guys,
This is so frustrating..i am in pulia jam from last half n hour. This is so frustrating to see people making four lanes one after another. Basically a dead lock situation making it amost impossible for cars from otherside to cross. Guys just show basic drving sense. Something has to be done here..
P.S: i am writing this email while driving in this jam..see d situation..:(
